Theme-based Peer Meetings (Thematic Meetings) are one of the peer-learning activities of ECFI. The themes of these multiple day meetings are expected to respond to the interest of European community foundations and community foundation support organizations and may draw upon (but are not limited to) themes raised during CF Study Trips. Typically these meetings address issues related to the local leadership role of community foundations or other topical issues relevant to European society today. They may involve experimentation in terms of format or content. These meetings are organized in partnership with a local partner. They are intended to provide a space for more focused and deeper explorations of issues, often with the presence of external experts.
